OK, here's a quick update. June's alomst done, and I haven't posted in quite a while. In fact, I think the last post was when it was still on Xanga. My beatiful wife switched everything over here to Blogger for me.
Anyhow the Ole Lady an I are going to the J & P Rally in Anamosa, IA. Leaving Friday, and we'll come back Sunday. The kids are going with Grandma to a waterpark hotel, and doing other things. We are going down there with 10 bikes, one of which belongs to my buddy (and my wife's grilfriend) Sam. It'll be good for us to get away and just have some time to ourselves, at least as much that's possible when you're going with 11 people.
I had my last class for the semester last night, so I only have 3 more online tests to take, and then I'm done unitl the end of August. Once we come back on Sunday, I can finally start working on my layout again. It was actually good I didn't start, because it gave me time to realize that I needed to make some changes, and I got a lot of good advice from the guys at nscale.net regarding how I should build it. I can't wait to get started.
The dog's up at Donnybrook Kennel, she's been there coming up on 7 weeks as of this Saturday. She's doing well, and learning a lot. Next week Saturday I'll go up, and I'll even get to run her myslef for the first time. Man I can't wait to get her out when duck season starts in just over 3 months!! I got her a special dog ladder for the boat, so it'll be easy for her to get back in after retrieves. I still have to build by boat blind, but the c*cksuckser at Magna Fabric hasn't written me back about the replacment fabric he was supposed to send. I ordered desert camo, and he sent me army digital. I guess I'll look elsewhere, and just sell the shit he sent me on ebay. I suppose I could place and order, and when I get his invoice point out he was supposed to give me half-off. We'll see.
Been fishing a few times, caught some northern pike and a 15" bass on Caldron Fall in Marinette County over Memorial Day Weekend. We even saw a bear crossing the channel. That was frickin' cool. The little one decided to shout "Hi Bear". I explained it's not a good idea to yell at bears!!! LOL. She like to go fishing with Papa, so hopefully the weekend after J & P we'll head out on Sunday. We also saw a loon in the water behind us. First time I ever saw one in person.
Got tickets for Tool at summerfest on July 4th, and then we're going to see Chevelle on the 6th. The little miss said if she has to go see Tool, then WE have to go see Chevelle. No biggie, I like Chevelle, plus I can pig out on lots of hot greasy high-fat food, yum, yum!!
Talk at ya later.
