Update (April)

Had a great time out in Southwestern Wisconsin. I didn't get a turkey, but I did get some fishing in. I caught 8 big bluegill, the biggest was about 8 1/2"!! I cooked them up Thursday night. The best part, though, was that the many hours I spent fishing on Lock and Dam Number 9 were also spent railfanning. Trains went by about every 10-30 minutes. I had a very nice time. Turns out after I left one of the guys that was up there got a 21 pound tom with 7/8" spurs and a 8" beard. Getting ready to head out in a bit to go get my trolling motor and buy a gift for my parents 40th Anniversary. Taking the little one with me, and the two older girls if they care to go. Gotta stop a Cabela's because....well......just becuase it's there.....LOL!!
